Job Description

GMS AG is a leading provider of AI-driven communications solutions for Mobile Network Operators and enterprises globally. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial verifications and reconciliations, including general ledgers, accounts receivables and payables accounting balances, and cost accounting reviews.
  • Verify and reconcile balances with partners and related parties.
  • Contribute to the preparation of closing operation works and financial statements according to Swiss Commercial Obligations (SCoO) accounting principles.
  • Collaborate with auditors, providing information during audit.
  • Prepare financial consolidations according to SCoO (OR) accounting principles.
  • Support the preparation of operational expenses budget.
  • Collaborate with Accountants and assist with ad-hoc requests.
  • Consult and provide relevant information to the Chief Accountant.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws and GMS AG's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Higher education degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Swiss degree only).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting functions in international companies.
  • Track record in all accounting operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Swiss tax and accounting principles, IFRS an advantage.
  • Advanced user of PC, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Infoniqa ONE 200 (Accounting Software).
  • Fluent level of English and German with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to plan, manage, and follow through on assignments and communicate in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborative, team player, and diplomatic behavior, attention to details.
  • Act with integrity, reliability, and confidentiality.
