As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing verifications and reconciliations of general ledgers, accounts receivables and payables accounting balances, and running cost accounting reviews. You will also contribute to the preparation of closing operation works and financial statements according to SCoO (OR) accounting principles. Additionally, you will collaborate with auditors, provide information during audit, and prepare financials consolidation according to SCoO (OR) accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

* Perform verifications and reconciliations of general ledgers, accounts receivables and payables accounting balances, and run cost accounting reviews
* Verification and reconciliation of balances with partners and related parties
* Contribute to the preparation of closing operation works and financial statements according to SCoO (OR) accounting principles
* Collaborate with auditors, providing information during audit
* Preparation of financials consolidation according to SCoO (OR) accounting principles
* Support preparation of operational expenses budget
* Collaborate with Accountants and assist with ad-hoc requests
* Consult and provide relevant information to Chief Accountant
* Strictly comply with all applicable laws and GMS' policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Higher education degree in Finance, Accounting or similar (only swiss degrees)
* Min. 5+ years of experience in accounting function in international companies
* Track record in all accounting operations
* Thorough knowledge of Swiss tax & accounting principles, IFRS of advantage
* Advanced user of PC, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Infoniqa ONE 200 (Accounting Software)
* Fluent level of English & German with solid written and verbal communication skills
* Able to plan, manage and follow through on assignments and communicate in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborative, team player and diplomatic behavior, attention to details
* Act with integrity, reliability, and confidentiality
