**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Aviation Fuel Programs Specialist to join our Net Zero Transition team at IATA. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of policies, standards, and solutions that promote the sustainable development of air transport.
**About the Role**
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing data regarding SAF developments across the globe. You will also support the research and development of a SAF database center through deeper technology dives and collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate the commercial deployment of SAF. Additionally, you will develop guidance materials for internal and external stakeholders, support IATA events on SAF topics, and provide reliable and timely input and advice for member airlines' queries and requests for information.
**Requirements**
- 3-5 years of experience and a university degree preferably in a science or engineering discipline
- A working understanding of fuels, policy, and SAF in technical, sustainability, commercial, or policy areas
- A strong interest in analysis and using research to develop positions and solutions to complex problems
- Experience in an international environment, especially engaging with UN agencies, EU institutions, international organizations, and NGOs would be an advantage
**Working Conditions**
