We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Global Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for securing funding from donors and governments to support our development programs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of securing large-scale funding agreements with donors and governments. You will work closely with our program teams to develop strategic fundraising plans and identify new opportunities for growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on data and information relevant to donor inquiries, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for growth
- Draft high-quality proposals and reports to support donor communications, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and data addressing key donor-relevant issues or specific queries
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH DONORS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO SECURE FUNDING AGREEMENTS
- Develop and implement effective strategies to increase funding from existing and new donors
Requirements:
- A university degree in public health, public policy, public administration, international relations, development studies, communications, or a related field
- Proven ability to craft high-quality proposals and reports in English, with exceptional written skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment and excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with Official Development Assistance (ODA) and related topics
- Working knowledge of French is an asset
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
