We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on data and information relevant to donor inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Draft high-quality letters, talking points, and presentations to support donor portfolio managers in preparing for meetings with government officials and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and note-taking, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
- Organize departmental files using SharePoint, recommending improvements for efficient information sharing and accessibility.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information or data addressing key donor-relevant issues or specific queries, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
- Utilize internal data systems and databases effectively to inform decision-making and drive results.
- Build and maintain a network of internal contacts to facilitate access to timely and relevant information for donor communications, enhancing the quality of our relationships and interactions.

Requirements
- A university degree in public health, public policy, public administration, international relations, development studies, communications, or a related field.
- Proven ability to craft high-quality talking points and official correspondence in English, demonstrating strong writing and communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment, enabling informed decision-making and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a strong working knowledge of these tools and applications.
Desirable Qualifications
- An advanced degree in a relevant field, providing additional depth and expertise in the area of fundraising and development.
- Experience in resource mobilization, working for a donor government, multilateral organization, or NGO, offering valuable insights and knowledge.
- Familiarity with Official Development Assistance (ODA) and related topics, enabling a deeper understanding of the global context and trends.
Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
