Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as Chief Consumer Insights Officer, based in Vevey, Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the future success of our category.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Data Governance, ML/AI or similar, including leadership positions. They will be responsible for leveraging category insights to identify growth opportunities, fostering collaboration, and ensuring flawless execution of CMIA standards.

A Day in the Life

  • Support the Marketing Director in defining the category growth strategy and accelerating value realization.
  • Set the vision for data, analytics, and insights at an enterprise level, including identifying white spaces for innovation and understanding macro trends.
  • Champion the voice of the consumer, driving a deep understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviours through attitudinal and behavioural science.
  • Enhance understanding of evolving consumer attitudes towards sustainability and health within the category to support the G4P (Good for the Planet)/G4Y (Good for You) plan.
  • Foster capability enhancement through a real-time learning agenda and implementation of best practices and guidelines, including advanced analytics and statistical modelling.
  • Provide key recommendations for category and brand portfolio optimization, including consumer segmentation and sustainability of consumer value.
  • Drive the yearly category research plan and allocate resources and capacity for the CMIA category team.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing category perspective and socializing consumer, market, and competition knowledge for decision-making.

What Makes You Successful

  • A strong track record of delivering marketing effectiveness measurement and tool expertise.
  • Experience in consumer and marketplace insights generation and demand experience.
  • Strong change management program applied to measurement, e.g. coaching teams and developing training programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with impact and great storytelling abilities.
  • Experience in building and managing teams as assets.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a bonus structure.
