**Position Summary**

As a “**Category & Competitive Insights Lead**” in our Nutrition SBU, you will support the Global Business Strategy Development by assessing new business opportunities, market dynamics, key trends and implications for Nestlé’s portfolio.
In this role you will monitor key category competitors, generate strategic insights on the Business Environment and prepare comprehensive and sound reports to be circulated to the Leadership team of the Nutrition SBU.

**A Day in the Life of a Category & Competitive Insights Lead**
- Provide analysis of the future growth evolution of the category, key macro, societal and consumer trends that will affect the future market growth
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors, their product portfolio, pricing strategies, market positioning, distribution channels and marketing effort. Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) to inform the SBU categories on business opportunities and threats
- Deliver ad-hoc or regular reports to the SBU Leadership Team providing actionable insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence
- Support the bi-annual preparation of the SBU Global Steering Committee (GSC) providing consolidated category and competitors' dynamics to inform the category leadership decision-making
- Support the SBU teams on selected projects by developing presentations, drafting notes in a structured way, and participating to cross-functional projects

**What will make you successful**
- BA/BS degree in Business/Finance/Economics or any BA/BS degree + MBA or similar on-the-job experience
- 5-8 years+ experience in Strategy, Business Development, preferably in FMCG industry or Strategy Consulting
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience with pre-processing and analyzing different sets of data (trends, market shares..) and quantify possible business opportunities
- Some form of exposure to M&A (due-diligence, integration, valuation, business cases....)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive them to completion
