Aeronautical Information Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Aeronautical Information Manager at Lufthansa Systems FlightNav AG. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining good relations with Civil Aviation Authorities and equivalent organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Renew annual subscriptions for AIP amendment services for allotted country coverage
  • Track and obtain aeronautical publications for the 28-day AIRAC cycle
  • Full responsibility for source procurement-related work tasks in allotted country coverage
  • Monitor, record, and verify incoming aeronautical publications
  • Full liability for on-time distribution of available aeronautical publications to internal customers
  • Clarify inconsistencies in publication methods applying relevant ICAO rules
  • Process clarification requests concerning formatting errors or missing publications
  • Handle customers' requests
  • Participate in internal projects
Requirements:
  • Several years of professional experience in business administration
  • Strong English skills (written and spoken); German or any other language skills are a plus
  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills
  • Solution-oriented approach
  • Pro-active, self-dependent, and conscientious team player
  • Customer and service-oriented
  • Structured work approach and ability to prioritize work
  • High degree of flexibility, discipline, and commitment
  • Ability to work under time pressure and high workload
  • Experienced MS-Office user (especially Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge of aeronautical information publications
