Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development and Sales Growth Manager to join our team at the Kistler Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and sales growth of our Business Incubator. Your primary objective will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and facilitate direct market development.

Main Responsibilities

Identify and Pursue Strategic Business Opportunities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target market and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor and analyze trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.

Networking with Technology Partners:

  • Engage with technology partners, such as software vendors, hardware manufacturers, and start-ups to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, trade shows, and start-up events to identify potential partners.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the technology ecosystem to leverage expertise and gain insights into market trends.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and support sales strategies for existing and new Business Units to drive revenue growth and build new business based on technology.
  • Identify potential customers, engage with them to understand their needs, and present our products/services as solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.

Requirements Profile

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of the high-tech start-up ecosystem, emerging technologies, and market trends.
  • Proven work experience in business and/or strategic development within the international high-tech start-up industrial domain.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and integrating start-ups.
  • Passion for technology, disruptive innovation, digitalization, and data value engineering.
  • Personality with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and networking skills.
