Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and adoption in the Public Sector in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, building, and managing Public Sector Business Development Programs, working closely with partners, AWS sales, and partner teams to drive business development initiatives across the whole business in Switzerland and Austria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, build, and manage Public Sector Business Development Programs
  • Work closely with partners, AWS sales, and partner teams to drive business development initiatives
  • Own customer relationships to drive government transformation programs
  • Develop and track multiple programs and key performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve our go-to-market and generate new revenue streams
Requirements
  • Significant business development and program management experience
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills in German and English
  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • International professional experience
  • Experience working with digital transformation or providing technology solutions for the Public Sector in Switzerland
  • Familiarity with Cloud and AWS
  • Masters or certification in public administration
