Job Title: Brand Account Manager Oncology Zentral-und Ostschweiz

As a Brand Account Manager in Oncology, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting the new AbbVie Oncology Brand in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You will understand customer needs and adapt accordingly, guiding customers to solutions and agreeing on necessary steps. You will be the main commercial executor of the brand strategy in the In-Field Team, continuously striving to gain market insights and proactively transferring relevant insights back to the Oncology Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Selling and Relationship / Project Management:
    • Achieve and exceed sales and units targets in the assigned territory.
    • Proactively identify and serve customer needs in a win-win approach.
    • Plan and evaluate sales calls, using evidence-based medicine arguments and visual sales aids.
    • Analyze sales reports and field intelligence to seek business opportunities and deploy value-adding solutions.
    • Develop engagement and journey plans for key customers across multiple channels.
  • Market Knowledge Development & Network:
    • Develop and maintain in-depth disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence expertise.
    • Foster a network within the community and seek opportunities to grow existing accounts and open new ones.
  • Territory Management German Speaking Switzerland:
    • Manage the territory, analyzing sales reports and field intelligence to identify customer positions on the sales cycle.
    • Effectively target and track resources to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements while managing the territory in German-speaking Switzerland.
Qualifications:
  • Primary degree in science, nursing, or healthcare.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Preferred +3 years of experience in sales in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Network in gynecologic oncology or solid tumors.
  • High customer orientation.
  • In-depth market, product, therapeutic, competitive, and scientific knowledge.
  • Proficiency in business tools, such as ETMS (electronic territory management system CRM), Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and omnichannel communication.
  • Project management experience and skills.
