Lead Program Developer for International Evaluation Training

Job DescriptionThis leadership role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), a flagship program of the Center for University Continuing Education (ZUW).
As the Head of Program, you will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership to IPDET, including business development, partnership building, and alignment of IPDET offerings with global evaluation capacity development needs.
You will lead, organize, and implement all IPDET offerings, including its regional training programs, on-demand customized trainings for institutions, and online courses. Additionally, you will develop new programs and further enhance existing ones, including curriculum and didactic development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve IPDET's goals and objectives.
- Liaising with international partners, stakeholders, and participants to ensure the success of IPDET programs.
- Leading a team of five staff members, including GEI training mechanism coordination, program operations, finance, communication and marketing, and administrative assistance.
- Engaging in teaching activities in IPDET based on your academic background and expertise.
- Evaluating the quality of training design and delivery, program evaluation, and reporting.
- Overseeing financial management of IPDET, including grant management.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social sciences (PhD preferred) with at least 15 years of proven experience in evaluation capacity building, including developing and delivering evaluation training curricula, conducting and managing evaluations in an international development context, and leading teams in multicultural environments.

- University experience, either academic or administrative, is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills are essential; working knowledge of German is a plus.

An estimated annual salary is CHF 120,000 - 150,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
