Job Description

As a Senior Plant Layout Design Engineer for Large-Scale EPC Projects, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering projects on time. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading the plant layout design during the orientation and acquisition phases of large EPC projects;
  • Taking ownership of ensuring smooth interfaces between different disciplines, including process engineering, construction, electrical instrumentation, and control;
  • Establishing an information exchange concept to facilitate seamless communication with third parties, including customers, consortium partners, and suppliers;
  • Developing a comprehensive layout concept for the entire plant, incorporating process engineering, construction, electrical instrumentation, and control logistics;
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to prepare plant concepts, such as maintenance strategies, traffic management, and escape routes;
  • Coordinating designs and interfaces with other disciplines, including process, steel structure, and civil engineering, managing and executing layout reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering for large-scale EPC projects;
  • Solid project execution background, complemented by problem-solving skills and efficient performance;
  • User knowledge of engineering tools, including E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit (RG), and profound understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology;
  • BIM methodology awareness and expertise (desired);
  • Fluency in English, with any additional language proficiency welcomed.
