Job Description

The Field Application Specialist will be responsible for training and supporting customers on all SOPHiA GENETICS Bundle solutions. This includes providing technical expertise and guidance on the use of our platform, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer relations and service skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning. Additionally, they will have a collaborative mindset and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to customers on SOPHiA GENETICS solutions
  • Manage customer support and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation and captures is required
  • Experience with liquid handler robots (Hamilton, Beckman, ...) is a strong plus
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, PhD preferred
  • Excellent customer relations & service skills
  • Willing to travel to various locations for executing trainings and any customer supports (60%)
  • Excellent scientific communication skills, both oral and written
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning
  • Collaborative mindset with great team spirit
