Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scientific Programme Coordinator to join our team at Work & Work SA in Lugano, Switzerland.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the development and preparation of scientific programmes for events.
  • Manage relationships with Scientific Committees and invited speakers, including coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Support abstract management, including submission processes and communication with presenters.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of online event programmes and related communications.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to arrange travel, accommodation, and logistical needs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department, including meeting minutes and expense reimbursement processing.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in event management or interest in scientific publications is an asset.
  • Residency in Switzerland.

What We Offer:

€45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
