We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle.

About the Role

As the Event Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough site inspections to assess event venues, ensuring they meet client expectations and are in line with hotel standards.
  • Developing detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines, providing clients with comprehensive plans that address their needs and preferences.
  • Coordinating with internal departments in the hotel to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Fostering relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing their performance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitoring event budgets, tracking expenses, and generating reports to evaluate event performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations for future events.

What You Bring

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced individual with:

  • Work experience in Event Planning, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, to prioritize tasks and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, guests, and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in managing a team and overseeing event operations.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box to deliver unique and memorable events.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must-have skill, any other language is a plus.
