AFC Professional Required for Senior Role.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume a senior role within our AFC team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and in-depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of AFC professionals, providing guidance, support, and training for efficient execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to building a compliance culture within the organization.
  • Provide expert advice on AML/CTF laws and regulations to the AFC team.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to AML processes and procedures.
  • Make informed decisions and consult with the team on complex cases.
  • Utilize expertise to summarize investigation findings.
  • Produce risk assessments and market analyses.
  • Assess and monitor new account openings and relationships.
  • Review and maintain compliance-related manuals and conduct regular checks.
  • Support the organization in regulatory matters.
  • Liaise with other departments on outstanding KYC issues.
  • Oversee reporting, statistics, and escalation of AFC matters.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and analysis for the Client Acceptance Committee.
  • Perform day-to-day compliance activities and checks.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence on high-risk clients.
  • Maintain accurate files and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Investigate anomalies and report suspicious activities.
Requirements
  • University degree in Swiss law, economics, or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of Anti-Financial Crime.
  • Previous experience in remediation considered beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework in terms of AML/CTF.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess economic transactions.
  • Proficient in English and French; knowledge of another language an asset.
  • Reliable, proactive, and honest personality.

Salary: CHF 120,000 - CHF 180,000 per annum, based on experience.
