Senior Product Manager for Contactless Travel Solutions

At The International Air Transport Association, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and launch of solutions for Contactless Travel. This role will be responsible for driving the adoption of Contactless Travel, including strategic product management of solutions to support this goal.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders in airlines, Contactless Travel providers, and other strategic partners to design and execute the program and solutions. They will also liaise with the direct and broader IATA team to ensure alignment of product strategy with solutions, standards, and advocacy goals across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a program to drive adoption of Contactless Travel, including strategic product management of solutions to support this goal;
  • Work closely with senior leaders in airlines, Contactless Travel providers, and other strategic partners in designing and executing the program and solutions;
  • Liaise with the direct and broader IATA team to ensure alignment of product strategy with solutions, standards, and advocacy goals across the organization;
  • Product development including the design, specification, and new product development, launch, and product management of solutions;
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales campaigns in conjunction with the marketing team ensuring adoption and commercial targets are achieved;
  • Provide timely financial and operational status reports and other relevant information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in innovation, product management, business development;
  • Good understanding of the airline, airport, and air travel industry key issues and business economics;
  • Experience in aviation passenger processing and facilitation would be an advantage;
  • Good understanding of identity management and the technologies supporting this transition;
  • Expertise in product development, feature definition, and development of innovative business models;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and expertise in stakeholder management;
  • Knowledge of budgetary processes and financial projections;
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team;
  • Strong leader, comfortable in managing multifunctional teams and external partners;
  • Comfortable in public speaking and influencing key stakeholders.
