About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our I&D Architecture, Salesforce and Solution Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions that meet the needs of our global aviation community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical components of our IT solutions, ensuring they align with our enterprise architecture and scale accordingly.
  • Participate in design sessions with business and IT teams to provide design alternatives and ensure technical designs meet business requirements.
  • Define technical best practices for implementation, provide high-level design documents, and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Evaluate application performance bottlenecks and recommend remedial measures, as well as identify and address application/code security issues.
  • Develop and maintain the overall architecture of our systems, ensuring integration, performance, reliability, manageability, and security.
  • Work closely with project management and development teams to assist in planning, review, and delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with Microsoft and AWS at a senior level.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with experience in bespoke software development, integration, and configuration of COTS products.
  • Experience delivering solutions in an Agile (Scrum) methodology.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions to senior business leaders.
  • Good knowledge of Java/JEE, web services, cloud-based technologies, and ERP/CRM architectures.
