Job Description

We are seeking a Presales Consultant to work closely with our Sales Teams and help evangelize our product offerings to customers and partners.

This role requires significant travel within the region of responsibility and involves working with sales to secure and grow business with new and existing end-user customers, Cloud and Hosting Providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam product portfolio, including training and enablement
  • Offer pre-sales support and/or on-site assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and strategic alliance partners
  • Participate in Veeam marketing events and provide input for product POCs (Proof of Concept) to customers
  • Prepare B.O., RFPs/RFQs depending on the exact need of the customers
  • Demonstrate new technologies and train internal staff/customers
  • Work independently or with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Provide technical compliance and competitive analysis of products that are part of the solution
  • Coordinate presales efforts with customers, through the help and collaboration of Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services figures
Requirements
  • Ability to drive business conversations with relevant stakeholders like C-Level at the customers
  • Ability to advise customer decisions on their future business strategy and ensure total customer experience on assigned accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • Comfortable in presenting to groups, both remotely and in-person
  • 50% travel expected across Switzerland
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Client interaction for requirement gathering and understanding existing infrastructure
  • Knowledge in VMware and Microsoft virtualization technologies in large environments
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure, AWS; comfortable to position and engage discussion around Cloud technologies
