In our modernly designed restaurants, our sushi masters serve unforgettable sushi delicacies - absolutely fresh and made only with the finest ingredients Represented in Zurich since 2006, we have continuously developed and now operate 4 successful restaurants, delivery services throughout Zurich, and a sushi lab where we offer popular sushi courses for groups. Additionally, we organize exclusive pop-ups, catering, private dining, events, and many other exciting projects. Your mission with us:
- Lead and organize the entire kitchen operations in our 4 restaurants and at various events and catering services.
- Ensure the consistently high quality and presentation of dishes in all restaurants.
- Manage costs, including overseeing inventory and purchasing in the food segment.
- Train, motivate, and lead the entire kitchen team with a hands-on mentality.
- Implement and monitor hygiene standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement creative, high-quality sushi menus in line with our concept.
- Collaborate closely with the business owner to improve processes and guest satisfaction.
What you bring with you:
- Completed vocational training as a chef with specialization in Japanese cuisine and sushi.
- Several years of experience as a head chef or in a comparable position in high-end hospitality specializing in Japanese cuisine.
- Creativity and a keen sense of culinary trends, with the ability to set new accents.
- Excellent knowledge of food and cost management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for gastronomy and a high level of team orientation.
- Very good English skills.
