Safety and Soundness - Application Security operations group manager is a leader who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering all environmentally present risks internally and externally. They will work with partners to drive thoughtful remediation, develop strategic initiatives, and enhancements to the organizations risk posture. This role requires advanced understanding of the common risk and exploits within a technology and development organization. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and operating a strategic, risk-based program for our Application Security and Vulnerability Assessments product domains of our Safety and Soundness program. Our goal is to implement appropriate practices to protect the organization and its stakeholders while supporting our strategic objectives. This individual will work cross-functionally with IT, IS, Risk, and Business stakeholders to
- Provide risk & remediation guidance
- Create a risk aware & engaged culture
- Review & challenge risk-based decisions
- Monitor organizations security debt
- Drive mature and responsible approach to Compliance requirements
- And, drive organization culture towards behavioral driven code security

**Responsibilities**:

- **_ Engage_**: Develop and drive ownership and accountability of Application Security operations and supporting aligned IT initiatives.
- Drive **clear, concise, pragmatic outcomes** with senior business and technology leaders that balance risk with business objectives.
- Provide **cross-functional team leadership** to ensure successful achievement of objectives.
- ** Deliver projects and programs**; facilitate agreement on objectives and success measures, provide overall project/program issue resolution and roadblock removal.
- **_ Inspire_**: Develop trust and build strong, authentic, productive relationships within the organization and with key stakeholders. Effectively engage and collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop, define and build on innovative ideas and business priorities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Cyber Security or related field - Experience considered in lieu of education.
- Hands-on and strong experience 10+ years within Enterprise Risk or Security management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to decipher and prioritize asks accordingly
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of common exploits, defense in depth strategies, and enterprise friction points.
- Experience with cloud computing, online services, enterprise software development (Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, SecDevOps), engineering and/or operations at scale.
- Knowledge of operational security capabilities including access control, Regulatory compliance, security, secure coding, and incident response.
- Track record of anticipating risks and finding sound implementable solutions.
