**Job description**:

- This is a unique opportunity to strengthen and support STMicroelectronics’ sustainability strategy, engaging stakeholders across the EMEA region. This new role involves the definition of the sustainability roadmap, KPI and targets within company framework, considering what is the most material for EMEA. You will oversee the deployment of the corporate sustainability strategy and defining, within this global frame, specific initiatives based on an analysis of customers’ expectations. You will be responsible for coordinating and developing leaders around your roadmap.
- Sustainability at ST includes overall: governance, stakeholders’ engagement, sustainability risk management, health, safety, psychosocial wellbeing, diversity equity and inclusion, ethics, people management standards, carbon neutrality, energy savings, renewable energy, waste, water, chemicals, biodiversity, responsible supply chain, responsible products, community and education including STEM promotion.
- Role & Responsibilities:

- Develop annual region sustainability priorities in line with corporate strategy, define and follow-up on region roadmap, scorecard and objectives.
- Develop organizational partnerships to accelerate sustainability (customers, partners )
- Promote ST Sustainability at our customers in the region, contributing to retention and growth of our market share.
- Participate to corporate governance of company programs. For example, responsible product (Sustainable Technology) and extra-financial reporting including responsible sales.
- Lead the engagement of sales & marketing leaders on sustainability key topics and how sustainability is integrated into our business strategy.
- In partnership with Group HR, support specific sustainability related people initiatives.
- Be the regional interface for the corporate sustainability team, and participant for corporate governance initiatives.
- Consolidate all initiatives, continuously share best practices, recover gaps vs ST standards
- Participate in any specific external benchmark groups whenever needed
- Coordinate sustainability organization risk management exercise every year
- Monitor regional standards and regulations on social, environmental and governance topics and provide inputs to Corporate Sustainability for incorporation into the Corporate strategy

Location can be flexible within Europe.

**Profile**:

- You will bring in this role:

- High education profile, ideally in a business school, engineering school or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in international industrial company. Exposure in sales or marketing roles is a plus.
- Strong leadership, influencing and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Proven skills in stakeholder engagement, with change management capabilities.
- Ability to link and build sustainability impacts and commercial relationships.
- Keen interest in sustainability with good understanding of the international and regional context of climate change, social, environment and/or the overall corporate sustainability landscape.
- Good technical understanding of products, technologies and processes at stake, or fast learning capabilities in these fields.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels; excellent business writing skills
- Creative, motivated and decisive thought leader with ability to think broadly.
- Proven ability to stay organized and rigorous, know-how to manage cross-functional projects and juggle a variety of topics and work groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, to be able to analyze, listen, summarize, be rigorous and agile
- Understanding and interpreting legal texts, such as regulations or contracts.
- Willingness to travel
