An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Marketing professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to develop marketing campaigns and assets to support our guests’ experience on board our fleet.

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of four luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.
- You have minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing\/Brand management. Luxury and cruise industry background is preferred;
- You have solid marketing skills at corporate level marketing toolkit development and production;
- You are structured and well organized;
- You work collaboratively and establish constructive professional relationships within the organization;
- You have ability to easily move from strategic thinking to operative tasks with strong respect for deadlines;
- You are fluent in English - knowledge of any other European language is considered an advantage;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital, or related field is considered an advantage.
- Support in the definition of key touchpoints and their role in the guest journey with focus on onboard experience;
- Lead the development and delivery of onboard communications content and assets in the set-up phase of the Explora Journeys’ ships;
- Monitor and analyze the guest journey to find ways to improve the effectiveness of communications;
- Support onboard business owners in the development of marketing campaigns\/marketing toolkits to promote new services\/features\/events;
- Brief and coordinate external agencies for the development and production of assets;
- Develop training for onboard crew to make sure all assets are properly delivered and maintained;
- Work closely with brand team to develop new guidelines based on new services\/product;
- Own timeline for onboard materials development and delivery, making sure key functions input on time;
- Monitors and manages budget to develop and produce materials;
- Monitor the effectiveness of onboard communication proactively suggesting ways to improve it;

VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any) Part of the MSC Group, MSC Cruises is the market leader in the Mediterranean, South Africa and South America, and sails year-round in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Its seasonal itineraries cover northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, South America, southern Africa, and the Persian/Arabian Gulf. MSC Cruises was born in the Mediterranean, and draws inspiration from this heritage to create a unique experience for holidaymakers worldwide. As a result of a euro 6.5 billions investment programme launched in 2003, MSC Cruises' fleet comprises 13 state-of-the-art cruise ships belonging to four different classes: Lirica, Musica, Fantasia and Meraviglia. The fleet's average age is 7 years, the youngest in the industry. In 2014, MSC Cruises launched a euro 9 billion, 10 year investment plan to support the second phase of its growth through the order of up to 11 next generation mega cruise ships. As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year. MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude. MSC Cruises feels a deep responsibility for the environments in which it operates, and was the first company ever to earn the Bureau Veritas "7 Golden Pearls" for superior management and environmental stewardship. In 2009, MSC Cruises began an enduring partnership with UNICEF to support various programmes assisting children worldwide.
