**Job Description:**:Are you looking for a unique opportunity to contribute to a startup within an industrial Fortune 50 company? As Global Marketing Manager for Caterpillar’s Rental and Used Equipment Services, you will contribute to expanding our presence in the global rental industry. Reporting to the head of Global Business Development, you’ll be responsible for strengthening our global brand, developing the marketing mix for Rental and Used equipment, generating leads in all key markets, managing our digital marketing activities, advising Caterpillar dealers, and designing and deploying a differentiated customer experience.

Equipment rental and used equipment services is an exciting, expanding business that Caterpillar continues to invest in, as more and more customers look to Caterpillar Dealers to fulfill their Rental needs, whether they are short or long-term for light or heavy equipment. With more than 1,300 global locations, our network has the largest construction equipment rental fleet in the world.

**What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)**
You will lead a team of market professionals based in the U.S., Europe and Asia. The objective of the role is to drive higher rental revenues, improve the share of the rental revenue opportunity and grow the volume of used equipment transactions, including customer value agreements. Decisions are complex and must be researched (customer studies, market studies, brand assessment, benchmarking, etc.). You will therefore provide analytical insights to improve business performance and make executive decisions, coordinating with other internal industry teams and product groups.

**Strategy**:

- Design and refresh a three-year strategic marketing roadmap
- Gather and leverage market surveys and customer insights
- Secure the long-term marketing investments necessary to execute the strategic roadmap
- Position the brands for the long-term success of Caterpillar and Dealers in the rental & used business

**Execution, Monitoring and Data Analytics**:

- Deploy the current marketing activities throughout the network
- Monitor lead generation
- Track closure rates on the leads generated
- Create marketing assets in line with long-term goals
- Launch new initiatives to drive traffic on targeted digital channels
- Ensure proper product marketing in the rental channel
- Work with Caterpillar dealers to ensure alignment

**Sales Operations Support**:

- Recommend pipeline management best practices and sales management best practices
- Support account managers and Caterpillar dealers for lead generation
- Ensure proper marketing activities to national and key accounts
- The position will require travel estimated at 20% of the time
- The employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time

**How You’ll be Successful (Basic Qualifications)**:

- Min Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of proven experience in marketing in a B-to-B environment
- Experience in digital marketing, CRM systems, brand management, customer experience
- Experience in services marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive background in the equipment rental or car rental industry
- Deep expertise with leveraging marketing data sources to facilitate campaign creation, performance, and lead generation fulfillment
- Strong business acumen
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to successfully influence others and achieve goals
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to quality
- Experience in complex pricing structures design
