The Bernafon group is an independent business unit in the Demant Group. Bernafon headquarters are based in Bern, Switzerland. We market hearing aids worldwide through own sales companies and distributors in more than 80 countries to help people with hearing difficulties.
Bernafon has the ambition to become more visible and even more supportive towards our business partners by offering direct support to those distributors willing and able to drive growth locally.
Therefore, our Team Sales International is looking for new colleagues
**Regional Sales Director 100% (M/F/d) - Greater ASIA**
**and**
**Regional Sales Director 100% (M/F/d) - EMEA**
You ensure the implementation of the annual sales objectives in accordance with the overall company strategy in the region and are responsible for continuous and sustainable growth for the hearing aid brands Bernafon and Sonic.
**Your primary tasks**
- Build, nurture and develop relationships between Bernafon, Sonic and Distributors
- Establishment of sales channels, distribution networks and expansion across the region
- Continuous support of existing customers and countries
- Budget responsibility (sales, EBIT, cap cost)
- Coordination of all sales activities in cooperation with partners and HQ
- Marketing and sales promotion as well as new product launches
- Drive solid and actionable data analysis on the performance including forecasting/budgeting
- Development of sales concepts for the various markets
- Organization of and participation in congresses and events
**Your profile**
- 10+ years of experience in a sales environment in the B2B space, including distribution network management
- At least 5+ years’ experience in an international sales manager role in medical devices with understanding of MDD/MDR impact and local regulations - hearing aids preferred
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of market, trends, technology, and opportunities in the geographic region and converting it to activities that drive growth
- Deep understanding of the culture, customs, and traditions of the countries in the region
- Passionate and independent business acumen with natural business ethics
- Extensive travel required, up to 50%
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English and any additional language relevant to the region with strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Position can be based anywhere in Europe near a major airport with regular attendance at the Bern HQ
