**Position Summary**:
The Sales Representative has the task of promoting and driving revenue growth of the full Sanger Sequencing as well as Real Time PCR and digital PCR workflow (including Instruments & Consumables) in line with promotion of Thermo Fisher Scientific as the technology leader in Genetic Analysis Solutions. The applicant will be part of a team of Account Managers, Inside Sales and Fisher Scientific sales force in their territory with the objective of growing profits and market share for the Thermo Fisher Life Science Solution Group. This job is the first step in rapidly growing your career at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Activities will include:

- sales visits
- territory planning
- tracing sales performance and accurate forecasting
- organization of scientific seminars and conferences

**Experience**:

- MSc, equivalent experience in Life Science
- Ideally 2 years sales experience in the Life Sciences Industry
- Excellent presentation skills and confident in verbal and non verbal communication
- Process oriented with attention to details.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Must be flexible and willing to travel between 50- 80% in his / her territory to complete his / her duties
- Requires understanding of commonly used Sanger Sequencing, qPCR and digital PCR methods
- Solution Selling and Key Account Management
- The applicant should possess a strong desire for continuous learning and growth
- Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal relationship-building skills
- Validated written and verbal communication
- Clear vision of, and dedication to, providing outstanding customer experience
- Dedication to making valuable contributions as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, innovative, and diverse field
- Must be self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical level
- Full professional proficiency in German and English language, verbal and written
- Driving License
