Straumann Group Digital Business Unit is a team of high-performing professionals, dedicated to enable and drive digitalization and take us forward by leveraging all Straumann Group brands and services to connect our customers and become the leading player in digital dentistry.
**Position Summary**:
The Commercial Enablement Manager is responsible for maximizing the commercial impact of Straumann digital solutions through the development and implementation of innovative new business models and go-to-market approaches, across the entire portfolio of digital hardware, software, services and consumables. This position will play a key role in Straumann’s digital transformation from a commercialization perspective, supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing Digital Business Unit (DBU).
The Commercial Enablement Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Product Management - Software & Services, and is a highly collaborative role that works closely with the sales regions / countries, other Straumann business units, and the DBU Product Management team. The role is global in scope, based in Basel, Switzerland, and requires significant presence in the countries.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Build and execute the global commercial enablement strategy and roadmap for the digital solutions portfolio including project planning, process definition and stakeholder alignment.
Create and implement new innovative business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, adoption and long term profitability of Straumann Digital solutions.
Develop and implement experiments to test new go-to-market approaches across the digital solutions portfolio. Generate and share learnings in a structured manner.
Develop and roll-out commercial enablement tools to optimize sales effectiveness. Work closely with the sales teams around the world to maximize their impact.
Work closely with the product management team to map and continuously monitor the customer journey for Straumann Digital solutions. Identify and prioritize pain points and opportunities to optimize commercialization.
Monitor customer usage of key digital solutions and generate commercially valuable in-sights from consumption data for the purpose of cross-selling, personalization, and process optimization.
Lead project management and process improvements to streamline and optimise end to end business processes, across each area of the business to achieve a more effective route to market.
Interact with customers and countries on a regular basis to gain deep insight on product usage and performance in comparison to competitive solutions.
Collaborate with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders concerning product launch, development and commercialization
**Profile**:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
- Minimum 5 years total professional work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and proven success in a commercial function such as prod-uct management, sales, business development or marketing.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital solutions in dentistry is a significant asset
- Extensive experience managing complex projects with multiple diverse stakeholders
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
- Comfortable with up to 20% travel
