Eurovision Services (ES) is seeking a Team Leader of Project Management Office (PMO).

ABOUT THE SERVICE/UNIT TEAM

Eurovision Services (ES) is the premier service provider of news, sports and cultural content for the world's top broadcast and media platforms.

The Operations & Engineering department (hereafter, OPS&ENG) is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision, coordinating the management of requirements and delivery for all events, transmission and media services between broadcasters, Members, federations and Host Broadcasters.

The Events Management (EM) unit is the central point for the coordination of all operational projects managed by ES SA. The members of the team play a vital role in the setup and delivery of events and services. They will always seek to meet the high expectations of Eurovision’s most demanding clients, while supervising the implementation of the most cost effective, efficient, and reliable solutions possible.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

The Team Leader of Project Management Office (PMO):

- Leads, monitors and supervises team members to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the unit and organization.
- Supports and motivates staff member to do their job efficiently.
- Leads annual performance reviews with team and define personal goals.
- Develops a team with a strong understanding of customer operational needs, drivers and expectations.
- Establishes a team that works constantly to provide outstanding levels of service to ES SA customers.
- Leads a team of Experts and Coordinators managing customer projects across the range of Eurovision Services.
- Has the ownership of operational project management procedures, implementing a clear working methodology for the management projects.
- Is responsible for exemplary until project planning, event steering committees, and project improvement programs.
- Works with Sales & business solutions to make sure the opportunity process works as effectively as possible.
- Sets clear and ambitious financial objectives for each event and project.
- Works with Business Strategy & Procurement to ensure systematic financial reporting and reconciliation of projects and events.
- Is responsible for implementing tools and developing systems for the management of projects.
- Ensures the best deployment of temporary distribution facilities in accordance with customer requests and cost objectives.
- Plays a deterministic role in the sizing of Eurovision’s permanent network, and future network strategy.
- Will define clear methods and procedures for workflows and handovers and the relevant other units.
- Allocates projects & contracts in a balanced and fair way according to competences, skills, and availability.
- Translates the strategy of ES SA into an action plan for all units.
- Identifies the key performance indicators for the team, and ensures that they are correctly tracked, and met.
- Manages staff schedule ensuring consistency and allocates tasks according to workload, special operations, or projects.
- Assesses training needs and proposes skill improvement programs for the team.
- is responsible for tracking the Capex/Opex spend of unit.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Years of experience working in an international broadcast environment
- Demonstration of strong management and leadership experience
- Proven financial literacy, and ability to manage large budgets efficiently

EDUCATION - Master Degree : Engineering

LANGUAGE - Fluent in English
