Overall purpose of role
This is an integral role within PB Europe, Monaco and Switzerland, providing overall support to the PB Europe Chief of Staff and business head. The CEO Office team sits at the heart of Private Bank Europe, Monaco and Switzerland, supporting the Chief Executive in their day-to-day activities and planning, setting the strategic agenda for the business, and taking responsibility for implementation of sponsored projects.
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.
Key Accountabilities
Business Transformation Management Support
The role holder will provide ad hoc business support such as, but not limited to, Hiring, service management liaison, CRES & Tech liaison, risk and governance activities, business governance, identifying appropriate process enhancements across the teams, compiling ad hoc reports/presentations as required, Records Management and Internal Communications support.
They will manage consistency and standardisation of data usage, report formatting and delivery across teams and jurisdictions. The role holder will also assist the Chief of Staff in assisting the business head, and other segment Directors/Managing Directors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Business Communications Support
The PB Europe CEO Office will support in managing the content of business communications for the platform. They will work with the communications teams to support the communication plan including Town Hall organisation, business update calls etc.
Project & Change Implementation
Where required, the PB EUROPE & Middle East CEO OFFICE will work with the appropriate infrastructure teams and with the wider group stakeholders including the Transformation team, ensuring effective implementation and embedding of projects/new change initiatives that will land across the business.
Key Clients (internal and external)
The role holder will interact with various departments throughout the business including Front Office sales teams, Finance, COO, Service, Operations, HR, Compliance, Risk, CRES etc, dealing with both junior and senior members of staff.
