**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly seasoned HR leader with exceptional skills to provide strategic vision, business perspective, and strong execution across Europe to support the Company’s mission and strategy, and achievement of corporate goals.
This position will report to the Global Chief Human Resources Officer and be located in the Zug, Switzerland office with a dotted-line reporting to the SVP, International. This role will sit on the International Leadership Team.
**What You’ll Do**:
- As a strategic leader, directly contribute to corporate success and to strategic planning by developing advantageous options tied to people. Weave together operations, culture, recruiting, leadership, and total rewards.
- Create and support an environment where trust, transparency, credibility, and integrity are recognized as key factors in building long-term positive relationships between the organization, its employees, patients, and shareholders and with the communities in which the organization operates.
- Develop effective communication and relationships with the International Leadership Team; ensure they are empowered with critical talent information and metrics needed to drive the best business decisions and maintain strong employee engagement and the highest ethical standards.
- Take a proactive approach to partner with business groups to anticipate, assess, and provide HR solutions in relation to business needs, with guidance as needed from the Global CHRO.
- Through active coaching and mentoring, support the organization in continuing to strengthen team and leadership excellence.
- Support the development and implementation of Global and local talent management initiatives and programs, including performance management, competency modeling, employee development, management development, and career development/succession planning and workforce planning.
- Drive a comprehensive performance and values-based talent system that integrates diversity and inclusion programs harnessing the power of people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
- Drive the international recruiting and hiring process; holding all participants in the hiring process accountable for their respective roles.
- Cultivate a compelling employer brand and develop a robust workforce plan in partnership with Global HR team.
- Provide a best-in-class HR service delivery model driving processes and providing capabilities well-beyond administration to consultative and strategic services.
- Serve as local consultant to employees and managers on a variety of issues such as benefits, training needs, performance management, policy interpretations, career development, and other issues impacting productivity or morale.
