**Job Description**:
Deciphera International is seeking a seasoned, dynamic commercial marketer with extensive rare disease and oncology experience, to successfully lead the marketing operations of the company’s pipeline assets with immediate focus on QINLOCK (ripretinib).

This position will report directly to the Head of Commercial Operations International and can be located in the Zug office, Paris, Munich, London (remote), Madrid (remote), Barcelona (remote), Amsterdam (remote).

This critical marketing director & multichannel lead role will be instrumental in Deciphera’s continued evolution into a fully integrated, multi-product, commercial biopharma company. The person in this role must be comfortable with operating at strategic and operational levels, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and influencing without authority.

**Essential Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position**
- Build and implement the EU brand plan for QINLOCK and Vimseltinib encompassing all areas of responsibility including development and implementation of brand strategy, promotional messaging, personal and non-personal marketing, in partnership with Global Marketing.
- Work closely with Global Marketing and affiliate commercial leads to ensure consistent pull through of marketing strategy.
- Identify Market Research and insight needs for QINLOCK and Vimseltinib, and work with Market Insights to implement appropriate studies
- Analyze customer insights, monitor brand performance and competitive dynamics to inform/adjust marketing/brand strategy and address customer needs
- Develop a close, collaborative relationship with Medical Affairs team to ensure KOL identification and development, publication planning, guideline strategies, Congress strategies, etc.
- Manage marketing partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets
- Act as an integral part of congress planning team and pull-through flawless congress execution
- Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership
- Establish and implement the concepts of learning, development, and continual improvement as core competencies of the commercial organization
- Must have a strong understanding of rare diseases and oncology market and have solid launch experience in Europe
- Be a product champion - be the strategic and tactical marketing lead for QINLOCK, and should be able to motivate and excite the entire commercial team and the company to help drive success of the product in the International region with main focus in Europe
- Be a launch champion -oversee a successful pre-launch and launch marketing planning of Vimseltinib in EU working closely with cross-functional partners and affiliates.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in business or sciences or related discipline. MBA strongly preferred.
- Seven (7+) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Oncology and rare disease launch experience is required
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything we do, alongside a team driven by improving the lives of patients
- Track record of working effectively across stakeholders at all levels, influencing without authority, collaboration, and communication skills. Maintains a “no job is too big or too small” attitude necessary to succeed in a startup environment
