LiveWell by Zurich has an outstanding opening for an all-round business development and sales practitioner who combines the development of innovative channel strategies with the relentless identification and pursuit of sales opportunities. Passionate about the impact of health and wellness on corporate and retail populations, this individual blend excellent communications and commercial skills to build and convert a pipeline of client opportunities in well-researched market segments.
In this exciting new role you’ll activate an effective sales and business development strategy around the defined channels of distribution to achieve the LiveWell vision and accelerate its commercial plan. Responsible for segmenting, identifying and progressing a pipeline of partnerships, corporate prospects and business unit opportunities to reach defined business goals.
**What you will do**
- Identify, build and implement new business opportunities through Business Units, distribution partners and direct-to-customer/corporate channels
- Lead generation through multiple marketing modalities including digital and social media
- Market segmentation, identification of target market segments and product positioning
- Performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
- Support Business Units and LiveWell leaders to launch new initiatives
- Developing and driving an effective sales and business development plan in support of agreed objectives and targets
- Fastidious pipeline management and coordination involving the utilisation of appropriate sales software solutions to enable Monitoring and Evaluation of the sales process
- Identification of appropriate prospects, setting of appointments, making effective qualifying sales calls, and management of the sales cycle to close new business
- Identify, originate, negotiate and execute partnerships and joint venture opportunities for distribution, services, proposition & rewards
- In-depth product knowledge which translates into providing impactful demos and putting forward a convincing business case for the digital wellness product
- Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate proposals and other documentation
- Contribution to product development through an understanding of market demand
**What you will bring**
- Successful business development and sales experience within the health and wellness | insurance | employee benefits| digital services industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond professionally, confidently and enthusiastically in a client engagement
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Systematic generation of revenue through the selling of innovative digital wellness products in identified market segments and geographies
- Experience in developing revenue partnerships and sourcing strategic opportunities within international markets
- Knowledge of distributors business models and propositions
- Ability to create and communicate a compelling business case
- Compelling ability to showcase the LiveWell digital health and wellness products
- Application of scientific selling techniques and pipeline management methodology
- Knowledge of distribution models and propositions, and creating a compelling business case
- Strong commercial acumen, business judgment, strategic influencing and analytical skills
