What will you work on at Hilton Geneva?

As Accounting Supervisor Accounts Receivable, you will be accountable for ensuring the proper recording of all amounts due to the hotel from guests, tenants, credit card companies and employees.
Reporting to our Finance Director, our Accounting Supervisor AR will ensure the following missions as part of our Finance & Purchasing team:

- Ensures that Hilton internal financial procedures are up to date and that they are constantly applied
- Ensure the accuracy of all charges and debits to the various accounts and that they are properly entered on a timely basis
- Controls debtor invoices, prepares and sends invoices
- Establishes Conferences & Events invoices
- Manage account inquiries and disputes
- Processes transactions received at the bank and records payments on debtor account
- Control of all advance deposits received for room’s reservations for posting and banquet functions and forward to reservations for posting into the guest profile
- Controls weekly the Opened House accounts and Group Master accounts

Responsible for the integrity of accounts receivable and performs payment reminders
- Preparation of monthly report on AR outstanding days
- Participates in the monthly closing as directed by the Finance Director

Reporting to our Finance Director, as Accounting Supervisor Accounts Payable, you will ensure the accuracy of accounts payable, prepayments, and creditor/ accruals accounting records and provide periodic reports to the Finance department.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Maintain accurate accounts payable, prepayments and creditor/accruals accounting records
- Provide related financial reports for the hotel on the centralised accounting system
- Support the Finance Director in managing communications regarding the payment and handling of suppliers to include the accurate and timely

processing of invoices
- Lead the month end process, as it relates to creditors, prepayments and accruals, and ensure all work is completed on time with all relevant

accounts reconciled
- Authorize month end prepayment and accruals journals
- Ensure the balance sheets, as they relate to prepayments, creditors and accruals are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotel
- Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures and continually review and develop the process and procedures to maximize

impact and efficiency
- Last but not least, supervise and account for all cash activities of the Hotel, safeguards cash assets, and prepares all financial reports related to

cash transactions.

- Degree in accounting / business management with a major in Finance, accounting, audit or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in income audit, accounting, controlling and/or auditing
- Fluent in English and French
- Professional experience in a similar environment a great asset

- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- IT literacy (experience with ERP such as Navision and/or other softwares an asset)
