**Chapter Lead Frontend**

In the role of Chapter Lead Frontend at Dentsply Sirona, you will be heading the activities of one of the front-end sub-chapters, uniting an important share of our frontend developers. The role is focused on developing the capacities, capabilities and covered know-how of the members in the sub-chapters, reporting to the Senior Chapter Lead. This includes recruiting and working with external vendors and ensuring a state-of-the art implementation brought forward via the chapter members into project teams. This leadership role includes the line manager function for the chapter members plus the responsibility of following a KPI driven technical debt awareness for the embodied technological field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive technical innovation and decisions
- Capacity management incl. recruiting, hiring, ext. vendor selections to staff project-teams as asked / required by the products owners
- Identifying, orchestrating, and managing external suppliers delivering into the capacity of the chapter
- Keep an eye on existing IP for UX concepts that may limit our freedom
- Ensure and implement technical state-of-the-art know how via the chapter into the requesting scrum-teams
- Strong cooperation and close coordination with the other chapters and product owners
- Create a culture to drive innovation
- Create a shared vision, focused on results and organizational goals

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in leading and organizing software development teams
- Scientific or engineering education (Master, Diploma or PhD) in software development, computer science, information technology or related areas
- Broad overview and development experience in front-end development with different frameworks, targeting different platforms. Experience in full stack development.
- Track record of successful product developments or corresponding project challenges in the area of the chapter
- History of delivered commercially successful software products
- Successful participation in qualification programs for strategic thinking, team leadership and project management
- Technical enthusiast with broad overview constantly eager to engage in new technologies and challenges
