**Job Description**:
**Key Requirements**:

- **Finished Vehicle Logistics expert**:understanding the European vehicle logistics market and having experience working with suppliers are the key enablers for conducting efficient feasibility studies of alternative solutions.
- **Detail driven with Analytical & Forward-thinking**:Ability to effectively communicate and translate business needs into resonable requirements towards logistics service partners. Proactively identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Can synthesize complex or diverse information, work with large amount of data, adaptable to dynamic situations.
- **Logistics Network design capabilities**:Possess business and strategic acumen with ability to coordinate requirements with cross-functional teams. Proceed with evaluation, planning, design, and implementation of the required changes in logistics network.
- **Result Oriented**:Ability to clearly articulate desired outcome(s). Possess ability to assess complex situations quickly, assess risks and be decisive. Works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it.
- **Business fluent German and English**

**Key Responsibilities**

This person will be expected to plan and design the Finished Vehicle Logistics network of GM in Europe
- Coordination with GM Global Logistics
- Network design for European markets in scope
- Prepare sourcing plan and coordination with Purchasing team
- Perform budget calculations and tracking
- Develop savings initiatives
- Proceed with required approvals
- Support logistics cost estimates for new programs
- Create and maintain Logistics contract database
- Monitor supplier KPI’s
- Visit suppliers, be up to date on logistics market status
- Participate in negotiation meetings
- Manage Spot buys
- Monitor cost per unit, manage fuel adjustments
- Monitor volume developments (Forecast/Ordering/Production)
- Support new supplier onboarding and operations implementation
- Bringing ideas to continuously refine and improve the core business

**Additional Job Description**:
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent - required.
- Broad understanding of European countries/markets, Logistics Hubs and Service Providers
- 5 years’ experience in Finished Vehicle Logistics, International background
- Operates with a sharp eye towards understanding customer/ market needs and ability to translate into initiatives that shape offerings to address those needs. Approaches strategy with the objective of delivering distinctive value for customers.
- Business fluent German and English
- Possesses high energy and resilience. Drawn to and skilled at solving complex problems.
- Strong and consistent personal ethics and a high sense of integrity.
- A culture carrier; values a positive culture with strong principles.
- Agile and intellectually curious.
- Ability to make quick decisions with incomplete or ambiguous data. Able to make sound decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
- Ability to make/recognize effective trade-off decisions and can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups, can win concessions without damaging relationships.
- Ability to travel.
