In this role you will develop and maintain a highly effective Channel Partner strategy in specified market (APAC) to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Plan and ensure execution of division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for assigned channel in a profitable way: orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitor proactively assigned channel performance, ensuring development and implementation of correction actions to secure business growth when and where needed. You will be responsible for leading, developing and coaching the related channel sales organization (other channel sales managers and channel specialists within scope) proactively. **Your responsibilities**:
- Define and implement the specified market (APAC) channel sales strategy in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensure regular follow-up, provide specified market channel strategy input for the Local Channel Manager.
- Define key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) and ensure these are achieved for the channel in the specified market, ensure detailed business plans with regular follow up are in place.
- Contribute to negotiations of frame agreements, technology program agreements and support Local Channel Manager in the offering and proposal process for channel partners and identify and evaluate channel partners together with the Channel Manager and authorize them in coordination with the Sales management team.
- Define and implement annual performance assessment and forecast process for channel partners and coordinate sales and marketing efforts that require channel partner participation.
- Ensure appropriate communication, promotion and training activities in the channels and implement policies and relevant standards (e.g. Market Segmentation, Customer Due Diligence, Technology assessment) to be used for channel partner evaluation and certification.
- Develop training plans for internal teams in all aspects of channel management and support driving strategic partnerships, through developing personal relationships with key partners, customers and other decision makers.
- Ensure use of relevant standard tools and reporting to relevant internal partner teams.
- Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels, ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and coach, motivate and develop indirect subordinates within HR policies driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
**Your background**:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in similar role and industry is a must have requirement
- Strong culture on Safety & Integrity, Customer Focus & Quality, Innovation & Speed, Ownership & Performance, Collaboration & Trust
- Very good knowledge of English written and spoken is mandatory, as you will be working in a global multicultural environment.
