**About the role**
- We are looking for a Category Manager Logistics to manage complex RFQs and be involved in strategic projects related to sourcing and logistics, with exposure to vast level of interaction, from Operations to Management**Key Responsibilities include**- Contract third party logistic service providers
- Prepare and run tenders for the categories in scope, dealing with all relevant stakeholders (service providers, internal customers and cross functional teams)
- Collect data, complete market research, define terms and conditions, negotiate proposals and finalize contracts
- Manage service providers, follow market trends and legislative changes
- Provide input and expertise in all relevant improvement and development projects (footprint analysis, make or buy, cost efficiency, etc.)
- Implement purchasing policy and best practices**About you**- University Degree
- Significant experience (minimum 6 years) in transportation purchasing/sourcing in Indirect Spend areas
- English written and spoken fluently, any other language is a plus
- Experience in Project Management
- Relevant skills in purchasing: negotiation, supplier management and procurement
- Strong analytical capabilities in order to manage cost analysis, budgets and reports
- Solid market knowledge of different areas within Logistic (land, sea, warehousing)
- Operational knowledge of different areas within Logistic / Supply Chain & Procurement: transportation by land, sea, warehousing, distribution networks and complex logistics systems is a plus
- Experience with e-Procurement platforms is an asset
