In this role as Global Marketing & Sales Manager, you will be accountable for defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the business line; proactively leading, developing and coaching the Marketing & Sales department; and managing the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way, and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision and strategy for the business line, as well as budget and efficiency targets.
- Lead the definition and area footprint (market presence, execution standards and delivery model).
- Define key marketing and sales targets (e.g. volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
- Proactively anticipate results and identifies gaps in order to take early remedial action and ensure these targets are achieved in the global markets. Drive the growth of the top line in each market.
- Responsible for achieving order intake, margin and related objectives for the product portfolio globally.
- Drive evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensures proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions.
- Oversee market, competitive analysis and market segment definition activities. Ensure the market is well monitored by developing, maintaining and effective usage of efficient marketing and sales tools.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders. Oversee the teams that identify, monitor and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management pricing impact on the results.
- Support local Sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.
- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software, or related degree AND 10 to 15 years’ previous experience in Sales Management.
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Leadership, Business Development, Marketing or Digital marketing in a technology business.
- Proven track record in creating and motivating teams in a multi-cultural context within a matrix and informal networks.
- Strategic thinker familiarized with executing the change in an international organization and willing to be part of a profound business transformation journey.
- Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation.
- Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, strong analytical thinking, and commercial understanding to create a business-aligned strategy.
- Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic, and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs and managing ambiguity.
- Results-oriented execution mindset.
