In Switzerland, Estée Lauder has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail (TR) and EMEA.

Due to our fast-growing TR business, we are looking to expand our Indirect Procurement capabilities for TR by assigning a Buyer for all indirect categories of spend, hence we are now hiring a Procurement Regional Lead for our Indirect Procurement TR team in Wollerau, Switzerland.

The position is directly responsible and accountable to lead the TR strategic procurement requirements, category and regional strategy planning, sourcing execution and negotiations in the indirect spend categories such as A&P, Stores and VM, Supply Chain, Corporate Services, T&E and IT. You will be focusing your work on three TR regions: TR EMA, TR Americas, and our HQ in NY.
The objective is to lead and develop strategic souring plans and category strategies to deliver year-on-year added value for internal stakeholders across all TR regions. You will translate regional brand and business strategies and requirements into procurement actions to enable growth and sustainable value generation.

**Your main responsibilities include**:

- Lead the strategic sourcing for TR commercial regions to achieve year on year improvement in the total cost of ownership, quality, and services by executing and streamlining strategic sourcing for the categories in scope.
- Lead the development of category strategy and planning, manage procurement/sourcing activities with cross-functional teams at international level to deliver best in class goods and services for the region.
- Responsible for the budget and planning of the procurement project pipeline for the region and be accountable for its execution against targets.
- Recommend value opportunities, process, and operating models’ improvements that will reduce total cost of ownership or improve value gain for the region.
- Strategically plan and build the appropriate vendor base to nurture innovation, improve speed to market as well as our cost base. Identify, initiate and participate in the tender processes, with bids' evaluation, bid award, negotiation, new vendor onboarding, vendor performance management, and reporting to stakeholders with the aim to drive down costs of total ownership.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and markets as driven by business requirements. Measure and manage the overall performance of suppliers implemented with KPIs. Define supplier base, secure capacity, and ensure continuity in supply.
- Develop and implement regional supplier relationship programs with key suppliers in close alignment with stakeholders and Global IP. Lead and develop procurement sustainability plans with vendors as well as drive inclusion and diversity best practices.
- Lead and initiate analysis to recommend sourcing opportunities, vendor base improvement to support business needs, improve value, reduce cost, and improve quality. Develop and maintain the region's "Preferred Supplier" list for the categories under the responsibility and ensure correct usage of suppliers by business partners.
- Partner with Legal to create risk-managed contracts; implement appropriate governance models to control cost and ensure compliance with Finance and Internal Control for documentation requirements.
- Directly leading one indirect procurement buyer

**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who brings**:

- University Degree or Apprenticeship in a procurement-related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a procurement function
- Extensive experience and successful results managing strategic procurement activities across multiple markets/global levels for mixed categories
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sourcing execution
- Great oral and written negotiation skills with senior management and external partners
- Experience in change management topics surrounding procurement
- Flexibility and capacity to adapt to fast-changing project circumstances
- Go getter-attitude who is creative and comes up with solutions
- Strong IT - skills with Windows Office, and ERP systems, SAP/Ariba preferred
- Fluent in English (writing/speaking), additional languages are a plus
