**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Head of Global Finance & Reporting will assume global leadership of all aspects of the business's accounting and reporting functions. This role will be supervising day-today operations, end-of-period processes and supporting the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts. The Head of Global Finance & Reporting will also be leading the design, implementation and monitoring of various core business processes based on industry best practices, including order-to cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, as well as other processes. Furthermore, this role will assume ownership of the monthly Group consolidation activities.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

Group Reporting and Consolidation
- Coordinate and lead the monthly, half yearly and annual closing processes, ensuring quick and accurate financial closing supported by sound financial analysis.
- Coordinating the preparation of notes to the annual financial statements (preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements including detailed disclosures).
- Implement and maintenance an effective internal control system.
- Planning and coordinating of external audits.
- Develop and provide reports within group systems to allow segment, cost center and product-based analysis of costs and revenues.

Financial Process and Control
- Develop and implement financial policies, processes and standards and the documentation thereof.
- Support evaluation and implementation of systems and software to provide timely and accurate financial and operational information.
- Provide comprehensive advice on a broad range of compliance, financial, accounting and tax topics.

Financial Compliance
- Manage and drive statutory, tax (corporate, VAT, Sales) and legal compliance in the 20 group legal entities, ensuring 100% compliance.

Systems/Processes/Projects
- Lead the implementation of ERP system for new entities including chart of accounts, cost centers, control of master data and accurate and efficient migration of financial data according to detailed migration timelines and process plans.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial software.
- Working on specific projects e.g., integration of new Group companies, merger activities, software updates, due diligence, new accounting standards implementation, etc.

Group Treasury
- Manage lender relationships and own process and tasks around Senior Facility and hedge agreements.
- Ensure timely lender reporting and covenant test reporting.
- Coordinate global bank relations and manage bank relationship and KYC requirements.
- Prepare regular cash management analysis and forecasts, including the balancing of group company funding requirements.

Financial Leadership
- Lead, develop and grow the accounting and reporting team.
- Identification and implementation of required accounting, analytical and technological skills and knowledge within the finance and reporting team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Commerce or Accounting.
- CA or CPA preferred.
- Profound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- 15 plus years of finance experience.
- 5 plus years of senior level financial management in a similar role.
- Strong process-orientation with good understanding of finance, reporting and accounting best practices.
- Experience managing finance and accounting teams and running core financial processes.
- Experience with financial ledger/ERP software and adapting it to company requirements.
- Ability to automate and leverage technology to eliminate spreadsheets.
