The Cross Unit Relationship Manager (CURM) is the primary point of contact of RMs located in another legal entity of the bank. The CURM plays a key role in fostering collaboration between different departments and teams within our bank.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Provide high quality support to Dubai based Relationship Managers (RMs) and their clients as Cross Unit Relationship Manager for their Zurich booked accounts
- Ensure that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation formalities are met and maintained to a high standard at all times (e.g. CRM data, client identification documentations, account opening forms)
- Interact professionally with clients in all aspects of the account management, attending client meetings and leading parts of the meetings if case allows (e.g. documentation formalities)
- Proactively taking the lead in supporting RM(s) and the Team Head in client relationship and all related tasks with high quality, precision and timely responsiveness
- Manage internal projects successfully which impact the account relationships of an RM, directly solving any administrative issues and ensuring all relevant systems are maintained and all documentation collected as necessary
- Conduct regular reviews, planning proactively and documenting work correctly
- Ensure ethical behavior, adherence to local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards at all times in collaboration with the respective RMs and TH (e.g. account openings, payment instructions, proper and meaningful documentation of client interactions/orders, client callbacks, sign off at own level of competence)
- Support the Front Risk Management function actively, ensuring timely clearance of pending items and escalated deficiencies, raising concerns when in doubt
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Relevant educational (bank apprenticeship or equivalent) and professional background (work experience in the financial industry)
- At least 4-5 years work experience in Private Banking or Cross Unit Relationship Management
- Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs (on boarding of new clients, maintaining and extending current relationships)
- Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) covered, i.e. familiar with the legal and regulatory environment as well as cultural awareness
- Profound understanding of relevant products, services as well as tools in Private Banking
- Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
- Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in German and English
- Excellent situational adaptability (able to work with RMs and clients from diverse backgrounds)
- Friendly, trustworthy and discreet personality with a high level of risk awareness
- Proactive and independent work approach
- Highly service oriented and passionate about client servicing
