**Role purpose**
- The Country Business Leader is responsible to design and execute the commercial country business plan and to manage the commercial activities between the different sales functions in country.
- Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise implemented a worldwide Go-To-Market strategy based on the strategic verticals Government, Transportation, Healthcare, Education and Hospitality. The Country Business Leader ensures the implementation of the verticalized strategy with securing customer and partner proximity. Furthermore, the close focus on countries respects people culture and enables team spirit and motivation.

**Structure**
- The front-line sales force, Key account manager / Vertical Account Manager and Channel Sales Manager with a local scope, report to the Country Business Leader. Technical Sales Support, Sales Operations and Marketing report to the respective functional region leader. The Country Business Leader is eligible for the Sales Incentive Plan.
- The Country Business Leader position will not overlap with the MD-Legal Entity Representative position: there is a close collaboration between the Country Business Leader and the MD-Legal Entity Representative.
- The Country Business Leader is empowered to lead the commercial tasks while the MD-Legal Entity Representative looks after the entity.

**Key responsibilities**
- Yearly Country Sales Plan
The Country Sales Plan shows how to land each country plan and ensures cross-functional participation and alignment.
- The Country Business Leader is accountable in putting together the different local plans owned by each local member with each specific responsibility.
- Manage escalations from the countries on all possible topics (pricing, quality, channel conflicts)
- She/He will be in charge of SWOT analysis
- Monthly Country Meetings
- She/He will be responsible to manage own team and support people managers with their teams

**Requirements**:

- Strong proven sales leader skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Native speaker German language and English (verbal and written)
- Building and executing a strategic plan for the country
- Financial knowledge and P&L mgt is key
- Local labor regulations is a plus
