We are looking for a motivated **Assurance Planning and Coordination Manager** to join our Group Assurance Department. We offer a unique insight into Glencore’s worldwide business. Glencore’s Group Assurance Department applies innovative practices to provide assurance and advisory services to the company’s stakeholders. We will also fully support you in your professional development.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with development and maintenance of Assurance (audit) Plan
- Coordinate the completion of and updates to risk assessments across the Audit Universe for consideration as part of the Assurance (audit) Plan, and any subsequent amendments
- Identify resource needs and manage resource allocation to ensure Assurance (audit) Plan achievability, and identify alternative arrangements or plans for any shortfalls
- Prepare reports on performance against the Assurance (audit) Plan and recommend corrective action(s) where needed
- Develop and implement a flexible combined assurance framework and plan that define the roles, responsibilities and accountability for the combined assurance process.
- Liaise with other assurance functions across the Group to coordinate assurance activities and plans
- Prepare consolidated reporting of assurance results from other assurance functions across the Group
- Prepare relevant governance reports to key stakeholders such as Board, Audit Committee and Senior Management
- Have 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Are educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in audit planning and resourcing and Combined Assurance activities
- Pro-actively seeking new ideas/methods to improve efficiencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Have strong language skills - a high English standard is required
- A problem-solver with attention to detail and prioritization
- Team player and able to collaborate with others
- Strong stakeholder management skills
