Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. Our division Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), based in Zurich-Oerlikon, is active in the development, sales and production of gas insulated switching systems.

**Mission**

Lead the team of area sales managers for the important European market. Together with the team drive the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) marketing and sales activities achieving the financial targets set forth and guaranteeing business continuity in the assigned markets

**Your responsibilities**
- Achieve your order intake as well as your margin targets in close cooperation with the local front-end unit
- Process commercial and technical customer requests with your team
- Develop the team of area sales managers
- Prepare market analyses and develop market strategies for the GIS product line
- Assume responsibility for tender management of the GIS product line with your team
- Prepare production forecasts and provide support in preparing key sales figures
- Hold customer workshops, sales trainings, and participate in trade fairs
- Contribute to updates of technical offer documentation and to further development of sales tools

**Your background**
- Bachelor or master in a technical discipline (electro-technical education) and ideally further qualification in business administration
- Ability to lead and work within a team
- Working experience in sales and customer acquisition as well as knowledge of the HV market
- Product know-how in the field of substations and /or switchgear desirable
- Business fluency in English and German
- High customer orientation
- Conceptual and independent approach to work
- Entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness, and ability to convince
