**S+ System L4 Coordinator**:**

We are looking for an experienced engineer for the global R&D of the Industrial Automation division, Process Control Platform organization. Our unit designs control systems products and instrumentation for the power, water and industries. Our portfolio includes a complete state-of-the-art automation solution for traditional markets such as thermal and water as well as challenging and ever evolving renewable markets such as solar, wind, and hydro. As S+ System L4 Coordinator, you will be part of the global R&D team, more precisely of SPlus System Team.

**This position reports to**:
R&D / Technology Manager (S+ Development Head)

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for support cases within S+ system level
- Monitoring the case management system queue(s) and coordinating with product streams for the resolution
- Handling escalations and prioritizing support cases, securing that plans and status are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Define targets and monitor L4 metrics (open cases, mean age, etc.).
- Interface to L3 organization for S+ system
- Provide customer expectations on target dates for corrections to the stream planning.
- Track the overall status of defects until they have a resolution (deferred, corrected, works as designed, workaround, etc.).
- Ensure that committed corrections are delivered.
- Ensure defects, corrections, and target dates are included in the increment planning.
- Initiate actions to avoid similar problems in the future (RCA etc.).
- Being the customer voice by participating in Maintenance CCB meetings
- Drive improvement in L4 handling and ensure the quality improvements happen in S+ system
- Be the interface for PCP R&D in division meetings / interactions for AQI, CCRP handling and reporting

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Engineering or Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ working experience in SPlus control system preferably in engineering and commissioning.
- Additional experience with any other ABB control system will be an additional advantage.
- Good objective analysis skill to the problems will be needed for this role
- Must be self-motivated, interested in working as part of a team, and able to work in distributed teams.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to develop schedules, plan activities for self and others and work well with other functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal and presentation to different levels.
- You will work in a multicultural environment so you must have a fluent English knowledge.
- Direct connection with customers and having interfaced with different customers across divisions will be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, R&D process and Salesfoce will be an added advantage
