ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a talented Merchandising Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the exciting growth and development of the Columbia Sportswear apparel business.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of our apparel categories by providing crucial support to the Merchandisers during the ranging process and maintaining accurate data. Your main responsibilities will involve managing data entry and maintaining the Product Development Management (PDM) system, including effective communication of changes and ensuring the accuracy of assortment plans. You will also leverage your creative talents and passion for visual graphic design to oversee all Go-To-Market processes and tools, ensuring that the Merchandising function makes a significant impact on key stakeholders, including our internal sales teams and external customers.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

In this role, you will have 2 main missions:
Support Merchandisers during the ranging process: make sure every product selected is correctly entered in the system; define deadlines; manage and track samples; organize the showroom; update Excel data basis, etc. Lead all the Go-To-Market (GTM) Processes & Tools: lead sell-in tools and visual content creation for GTM & Sales meetings; act as the Merchandising Project Lead for the organization of Sales meetings, in close collaboration and coordination with the Marketing team; support Merchandisers with their presentations; ensure seamless sample and deliverables management.

YOU ARE
- Passionate about outdoor and sports activities
- A creative person, with strong appetence for graphic design
- Fluent in English
- Able to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to details
- A strong communicator and very good at building trusty relationships with your partners
- A team player and enjoy playing your part in achieving common goals

YOU HAVE
- Degree/diploma in marketing, visual communication, graphic design or any other related field
- A data analytics mindset that allows you to translate figures into business topics
- Very good command of Microsoft Excel, Power Point,
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe Design
