AstraZeneca’s Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM) portfolio of existing and in-pipeline products encompasses for example therapies for Heart Failure, Chronic Kidney Disease, Metabolism, NASH, Amyloidosis and Acute Care. This role focuses on new assets in the CVRM portfolio. We are seeking to strengthen the team with an eager and dedicated professional with experience in launch excellence including marketing and sales management.

**What you’ll do**
- Reporting directly to Business Unit Director CVRM, you will coordinate all prelaunch activities for new assets, including coordination of cross-functional activities as well as leading marketing and sales for one brand in market (direct reports).
- Based on the launch framework, you will lead the insight work to understand the disease, patient pathways and current barriers in the ecosystem around the patient, identify opportunities and set up pre-launch and launch KPIs etc.
- You will lead the development of the annual brand strategic plan and, cross-functionally, implement and execute the operational plan. You are constantly informed about market conditions and incorporate them into your planning.
- You will manage the performance of your own, dedicated small field force team.
- You collaborate with regulatory affairs, market access, medical and sales to ensure adequate implementation of the planned activities. Including (but not restricted to) promotional and non-promotional materials, omnichannel campaigns and educational events.
- You will maintain contacts with opinion leaders and represent our company at scientific and promotional events.
- You will be responsible for the annual budgeting (costs and sales) and will supervise these goals on an ongoing basis.

**Your Profile**
- You have at least 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with previous experience in launching new assets with success and experience in both marketing and sales management.
- You are an innovative, goal-oriented personality with a high level of self-motivation.
- Strong analytical skills. Problem solving & solution oriented, you can safely handle complex tasks
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills. You know how to influence others and how to lead cross-functional partners at various seniority level
- Strong team player but you are determined and can succeed working with high level of autonomy
- You enjoy being close to the market and to your customers.
- Ideally you have experience in working at global level and have an understanding of the drug development lifecycle, commercial as well as market access aspects.
- Languages: proficient in German and English is a requirement. French is a plus.
