The Manager, Supply Planning CAR-T is responsible for the development and optimization of E2E supply planning processes in the growing EU CAR-T supply chain network.
The position is working cross-functionally with Global SD&OP, CMO’s, planning/scheduling, logistics, manufacturing, external manufacturing and other internal stakeholders.
As a strategic role, this position manages the EU regional SD&OP (including consensus for region nodes) and oversees (monitor and report) the respect of the lead-times and adherence to the supply plans. The job incumbent works with Global Supply Planning and SDOP to ensure seamless flow of planning information and its update.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Increase capability and maturity of the EU CAR-T Supply Chain Organization with E2E supply planning landscape acting as Subject Matter Expert for this
- Execute projects and take active ownership of agreed deliverables, ensure the impact is measurable and realized
- Define EU key processes and integration into global processes (e.g. SD&OP)
- Set-up risk planning and mitigation process as part of global risk management process
- Define RACIs and Roles & Responsibilities for key supply planning processes
- Map and align business processes and develop or adapt SOPs for CAR-T and legacy companies to ensure process consistency
- Co-ordination and optimization of product flows with relevant stakeholders
- Establish effective governance procedures to ensure communication flow
- Align on governance for SD&OP and include all stakeholders in supply planning process
- E2E view on supply planning process efficiency, with defined metrics
- Optimize supply planning processes
**Skills/Knowledge Required**
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
- Broad Supply Chain knowledge and at least 7 years of experience in several supply chain areas in a regulated environment or pharmaceutical/biotech (e.g. GMP, GDP)
- Customer focused relationship skills
- Facilitation and Negotiation skills
- People and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to rapidly solve problems and deal with organizational complexity
- Ability to prioritize and complete work with sense of urgency based on criticality
- Ability to interface cross-functionally both internally and externally
- Medical, scientific and clinical knowledge
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (e.g. GMP, GDP)
- High attention to detail skills
- High organizational skills with ability to multi-task several tasks in parallel
- Advanced Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Tableau and planning suites
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
