At the centre of the Forum's knowledge generation activities, Strategic Partners benefit from and contribute to the global knowledge base through working closely with the Forum to set the intellectual agenda of Forum meetings, driving the insight agenda of its publications and steering the impact of its initiatives. They make a tangible impact on global issues and society by contributing to better policy-making, informing business decisions, sharing best practices and engaging stakeholders beyond commercial objectives.

We are currently seeking a Partner Engagement Lead who will be responsible for formulating and executing engagement strategies for Strategic Partner (SP) companies in the Consumer, Healthcare and Energy Industries, facilitating relationships with chairs, CEOs, senior executives and other key stakeholders.

Reporting Lines and Interactions:
The Partner Engagement Lead will report to Kathleen Noreau, Head of Cluster, Strategic Partnerships.

Internally, this person will work with other colleagues in the Strategic Partnership and Business Engagement teams as well as with Industry Leads covering the Consumer, Healthcare and Energy industries and Heads of relevant Centres; and externally with a broad range of stakeholders in the strategic partner companies.

Breakdown of main responsibilities:

- Build and develop trusted, long-term relationships with Partners, engaging their C-suite executives; understand Partners’ strategic interests, and co-develop and drive the implementation of tailored engagement plans based on topics of interest to the Partners. Act as a trusted adviser for Partner companies, guiding them on the Forum’s platform and ensuring that they derive the highest value from their engagement.
- Work proactively and collaboratively across relevant teams at the Forum (with Industry, Platform and Community teams) to orchestrate and deliver the engagement plans for the portfolio of partners. Regularly review the status of partnership internally. Be on top of the latest developments of the Forum’s value proposition and present opportunities to Partner.
- Develop relevant industry domain knowledge and serve as an internal champion to convey Partner’s interests and concerns.
- Identify and own the relationship with the operational contact responsible for delivering the elements defined in the engagement plan; provide logístical support and guidance to help Partners navigate key Forum events; and identify and pursue up/cross-registration opportunities across the Forum’s wide spectrum of product offerings.
- Efficiency improvement: contribute to the team efforts to improve efficiency and excellence of operation through improvement projects, taskforces etc.
- Ability to ensure mutually agreed SP company needs and expectations are met; and engagement plans are executed accordingly
- Partner retention rates and proactive management of partners at risk of downgrade or cancellation
- Positive feedback from SP companies after meetings, including quality of logístical arrangements and timely troubleshooting
- Ability to identify and develop strategic relationships with key executives and consequently deepening account penetration, including through new value streams
- Fruitful coordination with internal product teams to ensure the delivery of value

Preferred Requirements and Experience:

- Broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of professional work experience in the Consumer, Healthcare and /or Energy (Oil & Gas, Electricity, etc) industries, or another relevant field (Account Management, Partner Management, Market Research or Consulting - ideally related to the mentioned sectors)
- Successful track record in account management and business relationship development, including proven ability to engage with business leaders at senior executive and C-suite level
- Excellent communication skills and command of English; fluency in another language is a plus
- Proven ability to engage with business leaders at senior executive and C-suite level
- Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment, strong collaboration skills, with a strong service and entrepreneurial attitude
- Able and willing to travel up to 25-30% of the time, in Europe and North America
